The Perfect Maxi Dress for A Weekend Getaway

Something about long weekends away makes me want to lounge around in flowy maxi’s all day. They’re so comfortable and so easy to just toss on and go with minimal effort. Perfect weekend getaway attire. For our holiday weekend we spent our time at my family’s lake house in Wisconsin. It is super relaxing up there and I love hanging with all my favorite people.
For this outfit I kept it pretty simple. This boho maxi I found on a recent shopping trip from the LC Lauren Conrad line at Kohl’s. It’s currently on sale and if you use a % off coupon like I did, you can get an even better deal! I wore a white lace bandeau under it since this dress hangs pretty low. I also wore these white biker shorts because as this dress is white, it is a bit see through!
It happened to be a bit breezy this day but it totally captured the billowing of the dress, I love it. I thought it was cool how the bottom front of the dress had a slit so your shoes would peek out. Check out that embroidery detailing, I think that might be my favorite part of the dress.
I went with this gold tiered necklace, my mirrored aviators, and my go to booties to round out this comfy boho look. I had a denim jacket I tossed over top as it got cooler later it in the day, sorry I didn’t snap of pic of it!
