Thrift Finds Styled (pt 1)
Hello Fall!
Well almost anyways. I thought what better a way to welcome the next season than to talk fall trends? As a double bonus, I used the pieces you all picked from my last thrift finds post to show you how you can be trendy without spending a ton of money. So in order to not make this the longest post ever with way too many pictures, I decided to do this in two parts so here is part one!
Keep reading to learn more about the looks and to discover some of my favorite trends I will certainly be rocking this fall.
The American Apparel tee I thrifted goes great with a plaid shirt and some ripped up denim. This is definitely one of my go to types of outfits to wear as the weather starts to cool down. These black velvet booties were an amazing find I bought online. Velvet is a big trend for fall in clothing as well as shoes and other accessories. These can really be worn with any type of outfit and as they are very wearable, it is a great way to try out this trend. I finished off the outfit with some cool bracelets that gave off more of an edgy, cool girl kind of vibe.
This might be my favorite look out of all them. It may be because it includes what I think is my absolute favorite trend for fall; the satin bomber jacket. I am a sucker for a cool or unique jacket and this is absolutely one of my favorites. I love to layer with jackets as the weather cools down so I can transition summer pieces I still want to wear into fall. The delicate lace cami that I thrifted plays off the shorts and jacket so well. I chose a layered necklace that plays well off the look. These wedge boots are faux suede and faux leather. Taller boots are great as the weather gets cooler to help keep your legs warm so you can still rock some shorts!
This silk blouse I thrifted is on trend with all the satin that was on the runways for fall. I paired it with a cool patterned skirt and leather jacket. This look would be great for a wedding, girls night out or date night! That awesome belt is also a thrifted find. I love the intricate detailing in the buckle and it helps pull this outfit together. These black lace up pumps are so comfortable and I love how they really amplified the look. The lace detailing is also on trend for fall in both accessories as well as clothing so that is another easy way to be trendy this fall.
