Hey Guys!
Happy Holidays! We are just a couple weeks shy of Christmas. I don’t know about you but I have been the holliest of jolly’s this season. (I had to make that as cheesy as I possibly could, how’d I do?) Whatever it is that is the magic of this time of year, is just flowing through me. I even started decorating early. (Yipes don’t come for me!) I waited to put the actual tree up though, but I needed to get my Christmas decorating fix so I put up some {most} stuff early.
If you aren’t new around these parts you are very well aware of my affection for all things modern farmhouse, rustic, a touch of boho and neutral; when it comes to home decor. So my neutral modern farmhouse Christmas decor will be no shocker to anyone. If you are a first time visitor, welcome, and feel free to check out some other posts like this one or that one and you too will become involved in my modern farmhouse love affair.
Come take a mini tour of my home this holiday season and get inspiration for your own home. As usual, I have linked what I could find or something similar if I could find it should you want to pick anything up.
Starting with this little entryway table, I actually got a little bold and added some color in here. And I love how it looks! The little touches of green and red are such a cute addition to the wood tones, don’t you think?
So unfortunately a lot of these things are a year or 2 old so they are not still available. But the little Mrs. Claus pillow is from the Target dollar spot and was still at my Target last time I was there so yours might still have it as well. The red berries stems are also from there. The rest of the greenery is from Hobby Lobby, it is some pine stems and some white birch branches with little pine cones on them.
That amazing wood box looks vintage but it was actually from Hobby Lobby but is not longer available unfortunately. Behind that are these super cute white skis which I got last year from the dollar spot.
The little tree with the red and white stripes was also from the Target dollar spot but I did not see them at mine last time I was there. Check yours just in case!
I love all the little trees in boxes. They were surprisingly hard to find online but I did manage to find these cuties. I bet in stores (like TJ Maxx where I originally got these ones) you could find some.
That wood house advent calendar might be my favorite thing on here. It was from Hobby Lobby last year so it’s no longer available but I did find this similar one!
I know I’ve mentioned this before, but our fireplace is one of my favorite things to decorate. It’s such a focal point of this room. The giant wood mantle is perfect to get that modern farmhouse Christmas look! The wreath and stockings are from last year and that little sled is a thrifted upcycle I did.
The flocked pine tree in that cute little basket is from Hobby Lobby this year but I couldn’t find it online, I found this similar one though. Also from Hobby Lobby are the tall white wood tree, the wood bead tree, the shorter white wood tree, the pine and white berry tree wrapped in burlap, and the garland.
The garland is a simple evergreen that I added a pine cone garland (similar) and some battery operated twinkle lights to. I also added a few extra pine stems to fill it out more.
I switched out my stocking holders this year to these black iron hooks which I really love!
Then we have that grey wood bead garland and the concrete “Merry Christmas to all” sign which are both from Walmart. I couldn’t find them online so check your local store. I did find a similar bead garland however.
Also in our family room is this little wall shelf and our console table. My son loves to play with his cars and trucks on this table so I didn’t want to put too much on there so he could still drive on there, He would NOT have been happy if I took away his busy highway.
So I combined this gorgeous garland from the Hearth & Hand line at Target with this vintage bell garland I made using these bells from Amazon (such a good deal!) and some twine.
I used these iron candlestick holders and staggered them along the table. I love the varying heights of these.
Above that on the shelf I kept it pretty simple. I stacked a ceramic house (similar) on some vintage books and added another little tree in a box (notice the pattern yet? Give me all the trees in little boxes.) Then I just added this candle from the Hearth & Hand line at Target.
On the bottom shelf I have my thrifted mirrored tray which I love. On top is a little mason jar I upcycled and used in the centerpieces for my son’s first birthday party last year. On top is this cute little wood ornament I found in the Target dollar spot. Then I have 3 of these little bottle brush trees which I got at Walmart this year.
These last 3 little spots are in various places throughout the kitchen and family room. Ok, you want modern farmhouse Christmas decor? How about this amazing vintage scale I got at a flea market? Such a cool find.
I decorated it with this little Christmas sign I love, which I believe was from Hobby Lobby or the dollar spot (can’t remember!) It is sitting on a little faux wreath ring from Hobby Lobby and this really cute white bead garland (similar.)
The little shelf is in the kitchen. Those bells were thrifted (along with the gold one hanging on my window mirror.) The sign is a couple years old from TJ Maxx, the little ceramic house is from last year’s dollar spot I believe, and the circle wreath is from a local little shop.
Next up is this little table. That wood basket was on clearance last spring at Hobby Lobby and that log candle holder is also from there. The candle is thrifted and those little evergreen picks (similar) are from my son’s birthday last year as well, here is something similar.
Last up is this shelf on our bookshelf in the family room. The white pitcher I got last year from Kohl’s and it has 2 of these iced pine stems from Hobby Lobby inside. Behind there is a concrete Christmas tree (from Hobby Lobby last year) stacked on 2 thrifted books with a little wood bead garland (similar.)
Then there is just another one of those little ceramic houses and this adorable wood peace sign which I got from Hobby lobby this year but they don’t have it online so check in stores!
