Lagure Premium Oval Brush Review
Hey Guys!
Have you guys seen or heard of the Artis Brushes? If you haven’t they are crazy expensive makeup brushes that kind of look like a vintage hairbrush. They have amazing reviews and are supposed to make your makeup apply flawlessly but for the price tag, I was left wondering if there was something comparable but with a much smaller price. I came across the Lagure Premium Oval Brush on Amazon (who doesn’t love Amazon??) and I decided it was worth a try for under $15! To get my full review just keep reading.
Packaging & Product
Let’s talk packaging and the product itself before getting into my thoughts and review. It comes in a sleek black box. It’s not a very sturdy box so I wouldn’t recommend using it for storage. Inside the box they do give you some instructions as to the best way to use the brush which is always helpful. The brush is beautiful with a rose gold slanted back, although it is definitely plastic and not metal. It has a rubber handle as well, both of those supposedly make for more precision blending and comfort while using. The synthetic fibers are rounded which they claim improves make application and effortlessly blends your powder, cream, and liquid makeup unlike conventional brushes.
Review
You guys, I am legitimately in love with this brush. It completely lives up to its claims. Although I have not personally tried the Artis brushes, I have to say it has to be a pretty good dupe for it. It really did leave a flawless finish with no brush strokes visible and my skin looked awesome. Plus, it is so soft! Even though I was a little skeptical of the seemingly cheap plastic backing, it felt sturdy while I was using it. The rubber handle was very comfortable and did make it easier to blend my makeup. This is my new go to for foundation for sure and I might even buy a second one to use for my powder products. My only con if I am being picky is that because it is so large, it was a bit hard to get into small places like around my nose or around the eye area. I am curious if they make smaller brushes like Artis does. I might have to look into that! Overall, yes I recommend you give this guy a whirl if you are interested, you won’t be disappointed! Has anyone tried the Artis ones? How did you like them? Do you think they are worth the money?
